Southwest Public Schools is pleased to announce that we have named Mr. Salvador Barrera as the new Principal at Mangum Elementary. Mr. Barrera is an experienced educator and administrator who has been a valuable member of our school's leadership team serving as assistant principal for the past two years. He has a deep understanding of Mangum Elementary's values, goals, and community, and we are confident that he will provide excellent leadership. Not only does Mr. Barrera hold a Principal as Instructional Leader certification from the State Board of Educator Certification, but he is also earning his doctorate at Texas A&M University.
